Greetings from the Sierra Nevada. I am posting a reminder about my online mentoring options below, but I also wanted to share a couple of new images I made at Inspiration Point a two weeks ago. I’ve been making photographs from there for forty years but have never seen the swirling clouds and unusual light. Enjoy!

I continue to offer my new online mentoring class called Portfolio Development. I have a few openings for March so please email me with any questions you might have, or to set up a schedule for this course. We will pick a day and time to meet each week. I send out the first lessons and assignments during the first week of the month, then one week later, we meet on Zoom for 1.5 hours to discuss your submission. After the meeting, I send you the next week’s lesson and the recording of our session. We will have four 1.5 hour meetings.

My course is designed to take you through an intensive process of conceiving themes, editing new and previous work, and then developing a strong thematic portfolio ready for presentation. We can work to start a theme and add new images to it, or I can work with you to edit and organize photographs from your existing archive.  I taught this course for eight years through BetterPhoto (an early pioneer in online learning), and I saw all students make good progress, and most students progressed remarkably during the course. See more details below, or jump over to my web page for the full details:

Portfolio Development
a limited number of spaces will be available

I am also offering Photo Review Sessions on Zoom.

Kind regards, Bill
