Greeting!
On Labor Day, my family and I flew back east to visit family in New Jersey. We also drove up to New England for the wedding of my close friends John Weller and Cassandra Brooks. John is a former assistant of mine here in the Yosemite area, and now has gone on to do great things, including a masterpiece of photography and writing , Great Sand Dunes National Park: Between Light and Shadow. He is a SeaWeb Fellow and was awarded a prestigious Pew Fellowship in Marine Conservation in 2009. I am so proud to be a part of his development as an artist.
See http://www.johnbweller.com/, http://lastocean-project.org/ and http://www.cassandrabrooks.com/.
The day after the wedding, we walk down a country road for brunch in New Boston, New Hampshire, where the wedding took place. On the short return walk, I found this images along the roadside. With my iPhone, I a few quick frames while our group walked on.
Beauty is around us every day, everywhere, if you only slow down long enough to SEE.
Kind regards, Bill
